As the Japanese earthquake and nuclear disaster begin to fade from news headlines and global attention, the substantial destruction, pain, suffering and health consequences left in its wake are far from being resolved.
We at The Synergy Company were deeply concerned about this and determined to find a meaningful way to help…and we did!
While brainstorming the most direct way to generate a meaningful impact on the tragedy in Japan, we realized that harnessing our most unique resource—our ability to produce the most potent, health-promoting superfood in the world--would have the greatest potential to help the Japanese people. Thus, the idea was born to donate Pure Synergy and, in collaboration with our sister company in Japan, make it available to those who need it most.
We worked around the clock to manufacture and prepare this special care package for our friends in Japan and, and in mid-April, an entire container load of Pure Synergy--valued at $1.6 million dollars--was shipped across the ocean. As we speak, much of it is being distributed to workers assisting the nuclear power plant, as well as to the many citizens who live near the nuclear facility. Simultaneously, another portion of the Pure Synergy donation is being sold at a steep discount in Japan with significant proceeds going directly towards assisting the humanitarian aid efforts of the Japanese Red Cross.
When our giant care package arrived on the shores of Japan, a team of deeply dedicated people stepped forward to carry out this remarkable endeavor. Headed up by an awe-inspiring local medical practitioner and a devoted group of citizen volunteers, Pure Synergy was on its way into the hands of those most in need---the workers and countless others in close proximity to the nuclear power plant.

To My Dear Friends and Colleagues in Japan,
In reflecting upon the heart-wrenching tragedy that has affected you all – my friends in Japan – I feel both a deep sadness for your loss and suffering and an enormous amount of respect for the way you have gotten up from beneath the wreckage and started to rebuild your great country. I feel your strength and perseverance all the way across the vast ocean that separates us—and I hope you feel our unwavering support for you.
It is difficult for me to fathom the magnitude of what you all have been through since that fateful day in March. Nature has the ability to catch us off guard, at times, with her powerful, unrelenting ways, striking when we least expect it and testing our will to survive and hold strong. I can only imagine the sheer terror that you experienced on that day and the repercussions you are continuing to deal with in the aftermath of this environmental and human disaster.
Through my deep friendships with Japanese “family”, interactions with our sister company in Japan, and all of you loyal Synergy customers over the years, I have come to so deeply honor, enjoy and care about your remarkable nation – I feel a true kinship with Japan. Needless to say, your suffering is very near to my heart--and I felt strongly compelled to do something to help. When I heard about the breakdowns at the nuclear plants and the consequent radiation exposure to those courageously working to fix the problem and to all those who live in the area, I was and am extremely concerned about their health and well-being. Realizing the great potential of our Pure Synergy product to offer extraordinary support during this challenging time, we decided that making a significant donation of our powerful Pure Synergy superfood was the best thing we could do.
In the ensuing weeks since the entire container load of donated Pure Synergy landed on your shores, we have heard how ordinary volunteer citizens are working diligently together to get the donated bottles of Pure Synergy and into the hands of the brave workers who are sacrificing so much to help their country. This is true devotion and dedication—and I cannot thank everyone enough for their tireless efforts. It also warms my heart to know that as planned, part of the donation of the Pure Synergy product is being sold at a significant discount with profit proceeds going to the Japan Red Cross to assist in their aid efforts in whatever way is needed most. I feel such gratitude for everyone at The Synergy Company Japan and the special team who is carrying out this mission of healing and love with such grace and resolve.
I cannot express enough how deeply I am moved by your unrelenting capacity to join forces as a nation--as a community of caring, resolute people—to do whatever it takes to protect each other and your national resources. Rather than collapsing under the enormous pressure and vulnerability of what you have just been through, I see you rising above and moving forward. Even still, I understand that there will be days when it just seems too hard, or too sad, to keep going. But you will— I fully believe in you and the power and beauty of the Spirit of Japan, and one day you will be able to look back on this moment in time, stronger for having been through it.
